The essence of the book Failing Forward: Stepping Stones to Success is that achieving people have a different perception and response to failure than average people do.
Failure is a part of a child’s life or a person of any age…we cannot escape it. Instead we must see “failed attempts” as stepping stones meant to equip us for the journey ahead. We must not take advice from anyone who tells us that something very important is easy to do, or that “everything we seek is harder than it looks”. We must plan and persevere. If we endure and press on we will win in the end. But nobody wins alone, so let’s start a conversation about running and winning together.
